Headteacher - Denbigh School
Sarah Parker is currently Headteacher at Denbigh School in Milton Keynes. Denbigh is an 11-19 Secondary School (a Convertor Academy since 2011).
She has been Headteacher for 8 ½ years. The School was rated ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED in 2009. The School was awarded Teaching School status as part of the first cohort in July 2011. Sarah is a National Leader in Education and has successfully worked with both Secondary and Primary Schools in this role, particularly in developing Leadership skills with a range of Leaders in Schools and developing Teaching and Learning. All of the work has had positive demonstrable impact. Sarah has participated in the Fellowship Programme run by the National College and completed a commission set by the DfE. Denbigh School is a National Support School.
Sarah has just been appointed a Pupil Premium Systems Leader by the National College for Teaching and Leadership because of her track record of success in Closing the Gap, one of approximately 60 Secondary specialists across the country.
