The Annual Primary Science Conference this year takes the theme of Primary Science in a Changing Curriculum. If you are a teacher from Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Luton come and join us!
This is a full day of primary science CPD with a choice of workshops and talks led by experienced presenters and an exhibition of primary science organisations and suppliers. During the conference you will discuss the new primary science curriculum, the key issues arising and the implications of the changes.
Liz Lawrence, Advisory Teacher for Primary Science and Technology for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham will present the keynote speech. This will highlight the changes and challenges presented by the new primary science curriculum. Steve Marshall, Director of the Primary Science Quality Mark and Science Advisor for the London Borough of Barnet will lead a workshop on Assessment and Progression. There will be a selection of other workshops which will target working scientifically, taking science outside the classroom and more.There will also be input from experienced local teachers.
