This interactive workshop looks at which pupils should be catered for as part of school gifted and talented provision. Considering the ‘core register’ and ‘revolving door’ approaches, participants will look at issues such as providing to identify, sources of evidence, underachievement and special educational needs. Participants go away with a better understanding of the different approaches to identification, as well as practical ways of identifying pupils in their own school setting. It is suitable for teachers and those with the responsibility for G&T in their school.
This workshop is led by Potential Plus UK, a national organisation with over 47 years’ experience in the field of ‘gifted and talented’.
Potential Plus UK prefers the term ‘high learning potential’, as this better describes the process of developing abilities and nurturing traits.
