This course is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced school administration support staff. The course will provide opportunities to evaluate your current role, understand ourselves and others we work with, understand quality assurance in a school environment, your general responsibilities and professional impact, working together in a team, managing difficult people and situations and exploring effective methods of communication.
The course will be run by Peter J Williams whose experience in education spans nearly 40 years. He has held many posts in both state and independent schools – a classroom teacher, head of department, senior teacher and the head of two schools. Qualified as a music teacher he is now a holder of a Masters Degree, the NPQH and a Fellowship. As a university associate tutor he works with teachers in schools undertaking MA courses and is a day course lecturer covering many areas in education. In his spare time he directs a large choral society and a very successful local orchestra in West London. He is an enabler of both student and adult progression, encouraging all those he associates with to development their skills and reach their potential.
